Continuous temperature monitoring for refrigerators, freezers, incubators, etc.

Refrigerators, freezers, incubators and other appliances can be monitored continuously using BluBug wireless sensors.

Our system is fully compliant with the requirements of the MHRA and CPA/UKAS and we provide a continuous recording trail for auditing purposes, data archiving, calibration and system administration making this, we believe, the simplest system available.

A sophisticated alarm system means that you are alerted immediately if there is a temperature excursion from any sensor. All alarms are logged and allow you to record corrective and preventative actions.

How it works

BluBug sensors are 100% wire-free allowing you to place them inside the appliance without compromising door seals with wires that are prone to damage. The sensors form a digital radio network hosted by our Smart Ethernet Gateway which uploads the measurements to the web server running the BluBug Online Monitoring Service.

Anyone with an authorised username and password can access real time and historic temperature data as well as alarms and the audit trail.

Alarms are displayed locally on the screen of the BluBug Gateway which incorporates a sounder and flashing lights. Alarms are reported by SMS, Email and to the WarnMe™ switchboard application. All temperature exceptions are logged as Alert or Action Alarms in a fully auditable database where corrective and preventive actions are recorded by authorised personnel.
